I’m a professional change specialist, with a focus on empowering individuals and businesses to adapt and thrive. I speak, coach, train and facilitate, and have a background in change management and transformation.
I believe change should be an opportunity for people to thrive, not struggle. By fostering a unified work environment with transparent dialogue, trust, authenticity, compassion, and a growth mindset, we can transform challenges into opportunities.
Now more than ever, it’s essential to stop unnecessary struggles and embrace change as a natural part of life.
Are you struggling with low staff engagement, high turnover or resistance to change?
Do you fear not being able to deliver on promises and maintain profitability?
Do you want to alleviate change fatigue and optimise collaboration to retain and attract talent?
I can help.
I offer leadership and change strategy sessions and execution. I’ve also designed, developed and delivered countless programs on behalf of institutes including Macquarie Group, QANTAS, AMP, NAB and BT Financial Group. For more than twenty years, I’ve run programs on change leadership and management around the world. I’ve worked with a wide cross-section of businesses, including Healthcare, Infrastructure, Rail, Financial Services, Airline, Government, Medical Device Sterilisation, Chemical Manufacturing and Tourism.
During this time, I’ve gained extensive experience in what it takes to lead change as it’s happening, while also ensuring the change is embedded and the business benefits are realised.
With over twenty years of experience, I have supported executives and middle management through complex mergers, high-profile business transformation projects, and implementations. My track record includes creating transparency, building trust, and fostering highly collaborative work environments where everyone can thrive and achieve successful change.
After spending several years managing change in large blue-chip organisations, I came to learn that the success of any change – big or small – is determined by the role that senior leaders play. I also learned that change resistance or change fatigue aren’t real problems; they’re symptoms of something underlying that can be prevented.
In the early stages of recognising the crucial role of leaders, I wrote a book outlining four pragmatic steps to achieve sustainable change success. These steps include creating clarity about what is changing, providing context for why the change is necessary, fostering collaboration through transparent dialogue, and maintaining control over risks and issues with transparent reporting and mitigation strategies.
Since then, neuroscience research has advanced significantly, enhancing my understanding and enabling me to link my expertise in leading organisational change to fact-based science. I believe that guiding staff through change should be an inherent part of leadership and that managing and adopting change is the responsibility of everyone in the organisation. Both leaders and staff need support to become aware of their roles in enabling sustainable change success and to learn how to integrate this into their daily work.
